Good thought - but I checked that - along with all the four feeder tubes that go TO the internal hub. It’s like when it hits the hub, it stops, but if I press the release button in the middle of the hub just a little , the filament goes past that little pressure roller and works great .It’s like that spring under the button got stronger all of a sudden and doesn’t let filament through
This is a known defect - [imo, bambu hasnt recalled] - see this megathread
It’s a bit puzzling to me, but with the new AMS 2 Pro for some reason the AMS will fail to feed the filament into the extruder on the first attempt which causes it to roll all the way back to the spool and try again. I confirmed the extruder sensor in Bambu Studio does detect the correct filament and color before retracting so I dont think it’s a sensor issue
I watch the filament leave the AMS unit so no issues there and pass through the AMS Hub just fine, but when it reaches the Extruder it en…
tl;dr near the end there is a method to shim the internal-hub open a little more and that resolved it for me. Others have ticketed customer service and they send a replacement part
