AMS 2 Pro - Issues with loading filament into Extruder

OMFG!

Replacing the AMS Hub only fixed the issue for like A DAY and now its back to the same retracting back and forth while chewing the ■■■■ out of the filament. Its weird because all slots have the same back and forth feeding behavior but I am getting “AMS slot X feeder unit motor is stalled” on each slot but I occasionally get “AMS A slot 3 filament odometer has no signal” when trying slot 3.

The motor seems to retract at a normal speed and when initially loading a spool sometimes it will just feed the filament all the way to the extruder totally fine. It only seems to be when trying to start a print that the motor sounds like its moving slowly and struggling which leads me to believe its some kind of issue with either the software or a sensor causing things to be out of sync when trying to load filament.

I have re-opened my ticket with support to complain again.
This is ridiculous. Its a brand new AMS 2 and only worked for 3 days. I have been going back and forth with support for almost a month now and it has only intermittently worked for 5 days total.

I have just updated my support case and added a link to this thread, but I would be surprised if Bambu don’t already know about this issue given the amount of people here experiencing it.

I’ve also attached a photo of the filament after my last load attempt, this was after hitting retry once more -

This sounds very similar to the issue I’m having. I bought the unit two weeks ago and it worked fine for dozens of prints. Then I used it for the first time to dry some filament, and since then, I haven’t been able to load filament properly. It just grinds and scores the filament with a lot of back-and-forth load unload the filament.

I’m also getting error code 0700-2000-0002-0012, which isn’t listed on the support site.

Hi all,
We’re experiencing the above issues too. Not a good start for the AMS 2 pro is it!?
I’ve made a ticket, quoting this thread.
I’ve made the choice to buy another old AMS to run on our H2D as we’ve never had issues with the normal AMS.
Has anyone else done this yet? We can’t be waiting 14 days for a reply off Bambu, that isn’t acceptable…
