Loaded four new PLA spools last night for a 12hour dry. This morning when I attempted to load filament into the filament inlet module (the nifty funnel) it immediately encountered a blockage. Tried all four bays, each with same result.
I rebooted and my P1S displayed “HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007”. Followed guidance and updated BambuStudio to latest and the error went away.
To be safe, did a full reboot.
Immediately recognized I had a problem when the AMS, whose boot sounds are quite distinct and tough to ignore, made essentially no noise whatsoever – no “click‑click… pause… click‑click.”, just the mildest of hums. All four bay’s white LEDs came on, but still unable to get a filament loaded.
Some googling and answer is the cutter servo is stuck in an uninitialized state (it fails to perform homing routine). Still looking for fixes, but:
