I got my AMS 2 Pro about 6 weeks ago to pair with my P2S. Since I got it, it has been having feeding issues. It feeds filament into the AMS but then gets stuck and can not feed past the filament hub. Once it gets stuck I can manually push the filament (pretty hard) past the hub. I took the AMS apart to see if there was any filament stuck or debris and there is nothing. I’m not sure if this is just a product defect or what, but it has been like this since I got it. If anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated!

I would try cleaning it first.
Not that it is dirty, but most of the time taking something apart and making sure it goes back together works.
It’s really clean. I made sure it was put back together right too.
I’ve been having the same issues, even though the machine is new. It just seems to need a little push before it goes in 
they got a bad batch of hubs. I’m on my third with exactly the same problem. If you haven’t already, open a ticket. If you prefer to do the work yourself, they’ll send you a new hub … eventually. The process is painful.

It’s unfortunate to buy something new and have this issue. I had to give the filament a nudge each time it retracted and I finally gave up and decided to take it apart. I changed the tube for port 1 but still not luck. Once I put things back together however, I did a load and unload for filament chamber 1 several times. I didn’t have an issue performing the load directly from the printer but when attempting to print, I experienced the issue again. What’s crazy is that I pushed the feeder forward slightly without breaking it. I haven’t had an issue since. I still cross my fingers each time I use that AMS.
I would tell you to at least try to load and unload filament directly from the Printer’s screen to see if it passes without and issue. Do that several times to see if it helps.
I experienced the same issue for slot 1, and 4 ended up putting in a ticket with BBL, the unit was replaced by them. I think they had a bunch of bad units in March….

Brand new AMS 2 Pro fist use. 2year old P1S just hooked up AMS yesterday first everything. The first feed roller you come in contact with is slipping I put a little pressure behind it it works great once it gets to the hub it has great grip but of coarse the hub puts teeth marks in the filament when it retracts
Same issue. Fully cleaned. This has to be a defect. This product is not ready for consumer use. It should not have been rolled out like this. Absolutely terrible horrible piece of machinery.

Ok this is a temporary fix!!
I have a brand new AMS 2 pro and it wasn’t feeding at the first stage the gear was just slipping on brand new Sunlu PETG and Brand New PLA I put a rubber band around the leaver you push to install the filament and it works great no filament change issues now . It’s holy as ■■■■ but
Yup, I opened a ticket with Bambu and they immediately said they would warranty it out. Just seems messed up they they know the hubs are faulty. This should have been a recall for sure.

wow. when I did that they wanted me to break out my volt meter and start testing things, wanted ME to do their warranty work. I refused and then the send me a defective replacement (same issue) twice. Three AMS defective out of the box in a row. Now I’m waiting on #4. Hopefully this batch is better.
Yikes! That sounds pretty bad. I really thought they would give me the runaround as well. They probably got so many people complaining that they had to just give a replacement. I really hope they fixed the issue. I print things to sell so this is really hurting my business. I’ll give an update when Bambu Lab responds.
