I have moved my AMS from a X1 to a P1S. If I do not use the AMS, I can load manually and print as normal but when I try using the AMS (that worked fine on the X1) the filament is fed from the AMS into the P1S, such that it gets to the filament sensor and then the filament is wound out back to the AMS, this happens constantly. I had thought that the filament sensor was at fault but there is nothing in the sensor, I removed it to check. Any ideas?
My guess is the buffer spring is dislodged/not seated. If you let it keep going does it send an error code?

Thanks, I looked at the spring and it was caught up at the bottom, I moved it and have tried starting a print, the filament goes in, the spring compresses so I think that is the issue. I have been bashing my head for 2 days trying to find why I was failing.
Many Thanks
Been there, done that :)) Only found mine taking a video for my support ticket…
