AMS-HT RFID Drying function

Since the release of the AMS-HT Bambulab said that the RFID is also being used to set the appropriate drying conditions.

Still cannot figure out how is this done because

a. I believe RFID is only read when the filament is inserted, which it explicitly says is not supported and ask to remove before drying
b. Only manual input is possible.

So how is the Auto-Match drying functionality supposed to work ?

If you tick the „rotate fillament function“ on, you must unload it. Since it will rotate the roll, it should be able to read the RFID.

If you disable it, there is no problem and the fillament is already known.

At least that way works the AMS 2 Pro, mine HT is still on backorder…
