AMS issue with Auto Calibration on X1C

I was doing some autocalibrations one day and an error popped up. I can’t remember which one, but it did state that I may have to factory reset for normal operation again. Since that error popped up, whenever I try to do an auto calibration from any slot in that AMS, it doesn’t work. It’ll unload a filament if one is loaded, then heat up and then proceed to do the process with out loading the filament back up. I can do manual calibrations from it, but that’s it. I’ve since reset the machine it’s hooked up to and have replaced all my tubing as well. It’s still doing this. It loads for prints just fine, but the auto calibration and flow rate simply won’t load a filament from that machine.

Anyone ever experience this? I’ve tried searching but unable to come up with anything.

Try running the Micro-Lidar calibration from the printers screen (Settings → Tools). It should give you the prior error code again for further assessment.

Will check and update when I get home.

Should mention that I have 2 AMS units hooked up and the other has no issues still functioning properly.

Ah, sorry. For some reason I thought it was a LIDAR issue. My mistake.

Unfortunately, I have not come across this error either on my AMS or the forum. And with the resetting of the AMS and printer not having resolved things, it may be a case for filing a ticket with support and running the gauntlet.

What may be interesting could be to try a different SD-card if you have a spare at hand. There are quite a few weird issues associated with that. At least, you could rule out this issue while waiting for Bambu support.

I think i have the same situation. I got 2 ams . From first all works fine. But if i try to autocalibrate from secend AMS , printer start calibrete bed position, then start calibrate filament but filament dont feeding… led from choise filament AMS2 dont blink, its still light on but dont blink / dont feed. printer start calibrate , but filament stil stay in amd and dont move. When i try to load filament from Bambu studio, it works, But auto calibrate dont.

I think I just figured out the fix, at least for me.

From your printer:

Settings > AMS Settings > Arrange

Then unplug them and plug them back in 1 by 1. It reissues IDs or something and mine just worked. Hope it works for you!

Should mention this is how to do it from a X1C. Not sure about anything else.
