I was doing some autocalibrations one day and an error popped up. I can’t remember which one, but it did state that I may have to factory reset for normal operation again. Since that error popped up, whenever I try to do an auto calibration from any slot in that AMS, it doesn’t work. It’ll unload a filament if one is loaded, then heat up and then proceed to do the process with out loading the filament back up. I can do manual calibrations from it, but that’s it. I’ve since reset the machine it’s hooked up to and have replaced all my tubing as well. It’s still doing this. It loads for prints just fine, but the auto calibration and flow rate simply won’t load a filament from that machine.
Anyone ever experience this? I’ve tried searching but unable to come up with anything.
Try running the Micro-Lidar calibration from the printers screen (Settings → Tools). It should give you the prior error code again for further assessment.
Ah, sorry. For some reason I thought it was a LIDAR issue. My mistake.
Unfortunately, I have not come across this error either on my AMS or the forum. And with the resetting of the AMS and printer not having resolved things, it may be a case for filing a ticket with support and running the gauntlet.
What may be interesting could be to try a different SD-card if you have a spare at hand. There are quite a few weird issues associated with that. At least, you could rule out this issue while waiting for Bambu support.
I think i have the same situation. I got 2 ams . From first all works fine. But if i try to autocalibrate from secend AMS , printer start calibrete bed position, then start calibrate filament but filament dont feeding… led from choise filament AMS2 dont blink, its still light on but dont blink / dont feed. printer start calibrate , but filament stil stay in amd and dont move. When i try to load filament from Bambu studio, it works, But auto calibrate dont.
Dont work for me. Re arrange didnt help. In studio i have a1234 and b1234, but i still cant autocalibrate B Ams Filaments. I can use B AMS , but i cant calibrate filaments from it.
When i Print B1 i got green filament line on grafics B1 AMSin Bambu Studio , but when calibrate i got nothing… printer do calibrating proces and failed…
(sorry about my poor english)
Im with the same problem here. Calibration starts but nothing is feed from the AMS. Its everything blank. Try re-order AMS, try factory reset, nothing works.
But somehow, still be posssible to print…
The more reports come in, the more it sounds like a firmware update bug. Which would not be surprising with the expanding Bambu product range exponentially increasing complexity.
I have recently upgraded to 01.09.00.01. Both AMS classic 00.01.06.62.
Unfortunately, it will be a while until my workload allows me to print again and see if I have that issue, too.
Maybe upgrading to a prior Firmware through Bambu Handy could help? Just guessing at this stage though…
Same issue here. 2 X1Cs, 2 ams each. Updated firmware on printers about a week part. Both of the printers stopped doing auto calibration for their respective AMS 2 immediately after firmware update.
Ditto, been having the same issues with my X1C. The print head will go through the motions as if it is going to auto calibrate, but doesn’t actually print anything and fails the process. Manual works fine though.
