AMS lite, Issue automatic Spool change

On the AMS Lite, the automatic spool change doesn’t work when the spool is empty. It simply displays a message stating that the filament/spool is blocked. After that, printing stops.
How is this supposed to work if the filament end is secured with tape?

You just dodged a bullet, taped spools have three modes they can work: 1) Tape lets the filament go, and all is well, 2) Tape holds firm and extruder cant yank it off, call for user. 3) Tape can release from the spool along with the filament, and gets stuck destructively in your AMS or PTFE

Some have reported that newer bambu spools are taped better, but I’m still gunshy to try to let it do that for me. I only let the runout changer operate if I’ve removed the spools ending (tape, folded tag, etc)
