AMS No longer recognising Filaments

Have been extensively printing all week, Printer stated that there was an update which I allowed to be applied - now on 01.07.01.00 (Latest).

after firmware upgrade and a restart the filaments in the AMS are no longer recognised. If try to manually state the filament then it only allows the colour ‘Grey’ ??

this is strange, I have the same version and no problems at all. Maybe your update didn’t run well?

Thanks for the info. Do you know if thee is a way of forcing it to apply the update again? Cannot see anyway of updating the firmware when its already the ‘latest’

The best way to fix a bad update is to downgrade. reboot the printer then upgrade again.

Thanks, but how do you do that? I’m not sure how to downgrade.

Just in the middle of a fresh ‘install’ as have factory reset the printer and going through the initial set up process again, but if this doesn’t work would like to try your suggestion.

I use the handy app to downgrade. I haven’t tried downgrading from the printer. I don’t think you can.

Done a bit more research. It appears that the 3 spools that were on the printer when the upgrade took place are no longer recognised by the AMS/Printer. However have tried numerious other spools and they are. Very strange, but I guess its some issue with the RFID history for those three???
