Yea, for sure, but I get a notification, when starting the print, that the AMS isn’t reporting any identification information, so I “Confirm” that I know what’s loaded and that I consent to proceeding. The AMS slot to print from needs to be manually selected, even though you already specified it in the slicer, before hitting “Send,” since as far as the printer can tell, the slot appears to be populated, but no matter what, it won’t accept the manual input after failing to auto-detect.
I mostly use Orca, but the Bambu PLA Wood does not show as an option anywhere (I did make sure all available Bambu Lab filaments were visible), and I wanted to just have a “proven” profile to try first, so I launched Bambu Studio, and the Wood filaments exist, making it easy to just export a *.3mf for import to Orca.
Having a hell of time trying to print a bowl of wood, as I’m trying to get scarf seams to work properly; even trying every suggestion I can find (I’ve read the Printables guide several times, so that’s not the issue), but I always get bulging seams where it doesn’t look like an unretract position, but it looks like what I usually get with scarf seams, and that’s a bulge/over-extrusion AT and sometimes after the unretractions.
I’ve tried many settings combinations, including what is likely to be suggested, if anyone replies, and that is:
- Changing wall printing orders
- Setting a negative “Extra length on restart”
- Variable layer height
- Wider outer wall
- Different wall speeds
- Both wall generators
- And More!
Anyway, you get it. If anyone has magical settings, I would like to know, please!
