AMS not present, but X1C started trying to use it

At some time in the update process, several models were added to the internal storage of my X1C. I decided to try printing one of them (Honeycomb organizer). The X1C refused to use the externally loaded filament, in other words it ejected the externally loaded filament, and gave me an error message about AMS. My X1C has never been connected to an AMS. Now it appears that for the first time, I’m finally being punished for not purchasing an AMS. Is this a known issue?
(Firmware 1.10.00.00)

Is it not fair for people that did purchase an AMS have included models that use it? It’s not a “punishment”. It’s how the system works. If you want to print the models without an AMS you will need to slice the model as such. They can be found here.

I think due diligence on the part of Bambu Lab would be to ensure that provided models be smart enough to customize their slicer settings and print if no AMS is connected.

But I forgot to thank you for providing the link to the models, so thanks!
