I read some where users were having this issue where the ams is not recognising filaments, and keeping the previously synced filament in its memory. This is an ongoing issue im having in the ams (slot 2) all the others work fine. When i remove the spool, the light stays white, ive checked the ams for any filament breakages and nothing found. Anyone else had this issue and know of a fix?
How long have you had it? The PTFE tubes within (well all of them) are consumables. They can cause some weird things.
Could also be the feeder assembly. I’d try replacing the PTFE tubes if it’s time. Other wise you can also put in a ticket. Take pics of error or whatever is happening on screen as well as tell them what you’ve done to troubleshoot.
Hi,
Had this machine for quite a while not part of Kickstarter batch. The AMS unit is the previous version and I used to have issues with the 3rd slot but since the last few updates that seems to have resolved the issue now the 2nd slot still thinks I have tan white in the slot and doesn’t register the new filament. Even the screen to reset the AMS doesn’t work so I either have to use only that filament in that slot or nothing. Crazy. But I’ve got 2 ams units so I’ll see what I can tinker with to get it to work.
Thanks for your assistance
