AMS on the top can dry filament

I just bought a P1S combo a few days ago. I got a benefit from my AMS on top of the printer it can dry filament.

My room temp is around 27-30°C. Humidity is around 45-50%.

Will it have any effect on the filament in the long term(PETG)?

Do I understand your posting right: You are wondering why the AMS has a high temperature and if this affects your filament negativly?

If your AMS is placed directly over your P1S top cover and all glasses are closed, the hot air will heat up the glass and therefore your AMS. You can prevent this effect if you put something in between of P1S and AMS (e.g. print an AMS riser).

However, the temperature should not have any negative effect on your filament, as you said, it is even positive.
