I have a x1c and ams 1
My AMS is not feeding filament. When I install filament in all 4 slots. Inserting the filament in the holes. The spool in slot 1 spins and pulls it out of the hole. The light on the first feeder is red, all the others are white.
I have fed the filament though each hole till it comes out the back of the AMS.
I replaced the PTFE tubes in the bottom about a month ago.
Assumed the stage 1 feeder was bad, replaced with a new. with the same results.
When the first slot stopped working. I continued printing lots of other prints just not with slot 1. Ordered, waited for delivery, then waited for a good time to install a couple months.
Tried unplugging the stage 1 feeder. To keep printing but apparently it does not make it to the second slot. The red LED on the first slot does not come on (it is unplugged)
What can I do to get it working? Or is there a way to just disable slot 1?
I re pushed the filament from the slot hole out the back. spinning the gear on the rear motor. And found a small chunk of filament. It seams to be printing fine.
