Been working on this ams’s issues for a while now, slowly starting to not push filament into the extruder all the way some of the time. Now, it wasn’t even pushing filament past the buffer tube. I disconnected the Pete form the buffer tube, and found that it won’t feed past a certain spot in the pfte tube, but will continue properly if I give it a slight tug. I’ve tried it on 3 different p1s’s so im sure its not the printers, or their buffers

ams has maybe 900 hours on it

Have you changed the internal PTFE tubes in the AMS?
Depending what you’ve printed with 900 hours is a bit. PTFE is consumable.

yessir have changed them all out

Well if it does it on other printers then it’s either the internal hub/motor or the feeder. There’s a bracket on the hub that can come loose or break. There are prints for it on MW. 900 is too early for that but I guess it’s not unheard of.
I’d put in a ticket to see if BL will replace the hub/motor combo. I don’t think there’s any way to fix without taking apart. Both are easy fixes and for the feeder you can just order the funnel.
i think it’s the motor/hub if you’ve exhausted the main culprits.

thanks! really really appreciate the help!
