We all struggle with glow PLA because of heat creep, being brutal on our hardware and because it can be quite frustrating to replace parts after a few rolls of glow filament.
What’s worse?
A worn our tube or a worn our AMS because you still put the damn stuff in there?
Printing from external helps to prevent the worst damages but makes multi-colour or material impossible 
Then I saw an old box I printed ages ago - I printed frame parts and used a press fit for the rest…
How to do it with glow filament then, at least for some basic signs and such ?
Took me a few hours to realise it can be done quite easy, just not THAT easy in Studio.
My old printer won’t complain a bit with free hanging parts …
Anyway, here is the general idea behind it, feel free to try and improve for your own needs >
Start with the back or base of the sign and while at it with the inverted top that has the text/logo for the glow filament cut out.
Once the base is printed print the glow filament on top from the external spool holder.
Assuming you calibrated your print settings the top should be a snug fit and end flush with the glow filament.
To help with the assembly you can chamfer the top all around the glow insert.
This also helps if you want to use glue or epoxy to keep the parts together permanently.
Still far from ideal, I know, but beats ruining the AMS…
