I am having an internet network error. I think it might be the andriod phone issue though. Background = P1S just purchased, download the handy app, used QR code, bluetooth connected from my phone to the P1S and paired, then it went to the 2/3 part and said it could not connect to the internet. I have starlink and both my phone and P1S are on the same router and both 2.4hz. I looked at my phone and from what I can tell the app is not giving or receiving data through it.
It has me pondering that the app does not have permission on my android phone to use it. I am not sure how to do this though. I spent a good hour looking through every setting and everything I can and can not find it. I saw a picture on reddit that shows allow access for local network, but I can not find that at all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I wish I could just use my pc to connect to it, but it seems like you need to setup it with a phone at first.
Quick update. I went into the phone settings, goto the apps, Bambu, permissions, upper right is the 3 dots, all permissions, I click it to have full network access, view network connections, view wifi-connections, receive data from the internet. I clicked all of those to allow it. Still nothing, even tried the turn on and off. It is also not in my saved paired devices. I can see it on the bluetooth though. I am not sure what else to do. I do not know how to confirm the P1S is actually connecting to the internet other than seeing it connected to the router.
Do you have any VPN software on your driod? By the way, mine did the same stuff when I first got it, then it just connected and worked regardless of what I was doing lol… VPN software could hose it up…
No VPN software on my android. I tried everything I could think off and looked at the wiki for hours. I even tried turning off the router to the phone and printer and make my phone hot spot and that did not work. So frustrating. I can use the printer, but have to pull the SD card each time and I am thinking there are features I might be missing. The sad part was I would update the firmware with the SD card, but you need the 1.6 firmware and this one I just got has the 1.5 firmware, so it has me thinking it was sitting in a warehouse for a few years.
