Anniversary Sale expectations

Hi All,

The Anniversary Sale is approaching (I hope ;))
So, I’ve been wondering what we can expect this year.
After selling my P1S, I am torn between buying X2D and H2C.
As the XD2 is a new release, I don’t think this printer will get much discount, if any at all.
But if the H2C gets a chunky discount like H2D got last year (ca. 300 EUR), I may stretch my wallet and buy H2C as a more future-proof option for my needs.
To be honest, I deeply hope for a good discount.
Considering not the best PR situation Bambu Lab has now, they should invest a little bit more to get back customer loyalty.
What are your thoughts?
What printer do you plan to buy on the Anniversary Sale, if any?

just like you: waiting for a good discount on the H2C and I’ll buy with lots of accessories (when in stock, AMS HT is often not available, so are many filaments :frowning: )

I expect items to be on sale.

I expect items to be discounted.

I expect users who waited for items to be on sale and discounted disappointed that selected items are not on sale or discounted.

I also expect user who waited for items to be on sale and discounted to be disappointed that items are quickly sold out for the duration of the sale.

I see a lot of positives here . Is it a personal experience with Bambu or general approach to life?

If you can, definitely go for the H2C. I have quite a few H2Cs and X2Ds, printing mostly high temperature filaments.

The H2C is a wonderful piece of kit. Print quality is superb so has been the reliability. There have been a few things that I can’t get to print on the X2D that the H2C does without hesitation every single time. I believe the issues can be tuned out of the X2D, but thus far, every thing I’ve tried, still has the same failure points.

That’s not to say the X2D doesn’t put out quality prints. It realistically prints the same quality as the H2C after dialing in your filament. There’s just a few exceptions to that rule. With mine, it had to do with long angled intricate overhangs the X2D keeps knocking over, blobbing on, while the H2C does them perfectly.

This could very be down to cooling. But this is happening while a plethora of z-hopping is going on. So the z axis probably needs a little tuning as well.

I picked up a few A1 Mini’s the other day for TPU. Totally surprised me and impressed with what an insane value they are. Gobbles up TPU like nothing. Same quality as H2C etc.. $219 to your door right now for one. I highly doubt they can be discounted more, but if they do, I’ll probably pick up a boatload of them lol.

Thank you for sharing your experience with both printers. This is definitely pushing me towards H2C. Now let’s hope for a good price cut, and I will be happy as a larry

You’re very welcome! Just to add, I do have a few H2Ds as well. They are just as rock solid and quality as the H2C. So if money if a factor, you can’t go wrong going that route too and saving some coin. I don’t have any H2S machines, so can’t comment there.

no, don’t do it! buy a p2s instead.. is way better.
The sale will start usually in the end of july.. if they discount the h2c about 300€ or more, it will be mine!

I wanted to play with large build volume, but Snapmaker sales ends early July, so U1for me.

how much dio they discount the p2s because i have a budget

I don’t know what the P2S offers, but I can tell you that I absolutely LOVE my P1S. It’s a really clean well built machine that produces nothing but quality prints for me. I also did love my A1. The P1S just feels clean and polished and with a few printable upgrades (top riser/vent and a poop chute) it’s been taking my business to the next level.
I would buy a second one right now if I didn’t need a larger machine. I am hoping the H series goes on sale this month, if so that will be my next machine. I will keep the P1S because it’s rock solid and I really love that machine.

What is different about a H2D AMS HT that it is the only one not in stock?

I don’t remember buying a H2D specific HT when I got the one I have now…

It’s the full H2D Combo plus an AMS HT, that is how I bought mine last June. Good deal, you save on both AMS devices this way.

Ack.. I thought you meant the H2D Combo with AMS HT, you just mean the HT listed for the H2D, there is no difference in the device, I think they do this to minimize confusion with the accessories needed for different printers.

The sale starts on June 15th (tomorrow).
