I’m only curious as to what can cause this as I have not had the issue on any other prints, and I don’t really care that it looks like this (just a tray for my garage).
I found a tray on makerworld and used BS to just change the length and width. For whatever reason, the inside wall has those ripples on it but it starts in the middle. It has them on one inside end too, and directly across from this section. So basically on half of the print.
I am not familiar enough with BS yet to know what most of the settings do. I simply selected the correct printer, nozzle size, and resized it. I am just curious as to what would cause this. Note: It printed left to right on the plate, so I would think any Y axis issues while printing would be across the whole thing.
So I took a look at the tray on MakerWorld and see that even the one in the picture there has this issue. So apparently it’s not my printer or my settings. However, I am still curious as to what causes it.
if it’s the model it’s the model really… at times when they are designed the people don’t make things solid, leave holes from patched up things and such. Then when you or I go in to “enlarge” cough cough it ruins the model.
I just was dealing with a spaceship you saw in the other thread. utter nightmare and i know it ain’t my printer. Like you I know something off. it’s the model - sometimes we don’t get lucky and it’s easier to go remake one yourself to avoid that other persons issues haha
Thanks. I get that it’s in the original, but I guess I don’t understand how someone can “design” what should be a straight uniform wall, and then have it do something different only on one half.
