Any way to Hide a part before Printing?

Hi, I’m printing a birdhouse, in pieces, So I was wondering if there is a way to hide parts of the build and then print only the unhidden parts?

Normally I make a new Project for each part, but it’s a pain.

Also Im not looking to cancel a part mid print. these parts are big and outside the plate so deleting is usually the only option to even get it to slice… I just want them all together an hidden until I need to print them.
Google AI says there a way but Im not finding the “Hide Icon”

Yup!

If they are separate objects you can right click on the object and uncheck the option “printable”

Or, no matter what the model is, you can right click the object and choose “add negative part” and then mask out anything you don’t want to print with negative parts and they will not get sliced or print!

I think you want the printable setting, select the part then right click and unset it:

Though personally I would manage it by adding more plates.

Negative part is awesome for prototyping and testing. You can just mask out 98% of your design and just print the part you are testing for fit up / geometry / overhangs / etc and then when it’s working the way you want you can just delete all the negative parts (or select them all with ctrl+click in the object view and move them all off the build plate so you can move them back later if you want … they can also be booleaned like any other part)

making them unprintable just turns them black, is there any way to hide (make them invisible) other plates while working on a single plate?

Not sure what your end goal is but if you select the object and click the “Measure” tool it hides all the other objects.

I just want to be able to move, scale, and adjust a single item sometimes during printing.
The measuring tool hides everything else if you seletc a single item, but the minute you attempt to edit that item, everything comes back

I’m bumping this as I really think it would be super helpful to have a hid tab on each plate, especially when you are bulk printing parts on multiple plates. as of right now Im forced to make a new project just for one part that im batch printing
