Trying to get a smooth curve on the under part of my print. Keep getting rough surface on the top part of the arch way. I know the best result would be to rotate my part but can not do this.
I have tried both using the normal support settings and a custom one with using PLA as the raft interface to make it stick less Custom setting below.
Please help with any settings please
It would be helpful if you posted a screengrab of the sliced “preview” screen so that we can better determine what the slicer actually did during the prep of the model.
Also, what version of the slicer are you using? This is not the default value. Why are using snug?
Additionally, the threshold angle is at 30 degrees. Is there a reason for that?
And last, can you post a screen grab of all the support settings, it looks like you clipped other information that could help us help you answer your question.
As a shortcut, have you tried reverting your settings back to the defaults?
That doesn’t look like Studio. 30º is the current default in Studio but the layout and options are all wrong.
