I have been testing printing pieces I designed in TinkerCad like the example above, and I almost always encounter the issue shown in the photo. On a surface that should be flat, when the wall transitions from a section with infill (solid) to a section that has an internal cavity, the following happens: “jumps” appear on the wall where the object’s outline becomes misaligned.
I’m sure I’m not the first to experience something this specific, but I haven’t found a post in the forum that directly addresses the solution to this problem.
Could it be due to differences in extruder pressure or material contraction?
Does anyone have a solution or an idea of why this happens?
