Hi everyone!
I need some guidance on an issue i’ve been facing.
I started printing stuff in Spira Vase mode and after some adjustments, the only issue i was not able to solve is these artifacts on the printed parts and I dont understand why they happen.
I slowed the print speed down to avoid other issues I faced and I also set the outer wall to 0.55 instead of the default 0.42 to make it a bit more rigid.
But my prints somehow always get this artifact (shown in the photos) at some point in the print.
The last thing I tried (not settings related) is drying the filament for 8+ hours and not its sitting in the AMS with an indicated humidity of 12%.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening and how to avoid it?

If you have timelapse turned on, turn it off.
When I have vase mode problems I make a huge, bed sized cylinder and print that instead of a model. That makes it easy to look for problems.
It could be bad filament, also the surface is rougher than I’d normally expect.

Thank you for the suggestions.
How does timelapse come into play here? In case it matters I am not using smooth timelapse with a prime tower.
The surface roughness you see is from models printed before lowering the speed. The last one is pretty smooth.
This is my friend what I battle for a long time i try to help you but please let me know too if you have a solution.
The issue: I have with bambu matte filaments only specially bone white. During longer prints the filament ‘powder’ builds up around the nozzle and start to scretch the print or like in your case once when its big enough just fall in the print and this is all…
My solution for some colors to lower the temps increase the cooling up until you still have layer adhesion like that all filament solidify almost immediately slowing down this but its not resolved in my case.
