Printing on P1S enclosed with calibrated filament Polymaker ASA. lower layers print fine, no adhesion issues (ignore lift on picture, its on a non-flat surface). Anyone know why it looks like over-extrusion only on the sides and in the text area?

I thought maybe its a speed issue? but it looks more like over-extrusion, which is weird given that I have calibrated the flow rates.
Any help appreciated.
Have you looked at the Speed and Layer Time views in the Prepare tab?
Do the changes they show correspond to the areas where you see faults?
If so, try slowing down the print at those points.
You can do this with a “Height range Modifier”.
- Select the model
- Right-click it
- Choose “Height range Modifier”
- In the Preview tab (you may be taken there automatically), locate the Objects view and select the correct build plate and model.
- Expand the model tree-view (triangle shape next to the model name)
- Expand the Layers branch (same as above)
- Enter the from and to range in mm where you wish to change the speed
- Add as many of these as you need using the + button at the bottom of the screen; one should be good for testing
- Select each of the ranges you created
- Modify the speed settings in the panel that shows up below
- You are now editing changes for this layer range only, repeat as required
Height range Modifiers are powerful and can do far more than this. You can set a colour for the whole range, change wall count and more.
If you haven’t used them before, they are worth exploring.

Seems to me not enough cooling
These are my cooling parameters for PolyLite ASA
Might have been a speed issue. I halved the speed and the print is much better. No overhangs and cleaner lines. It’s not 100%, there are still some issues with the print (slight warps due to ASA cooling retraction), but its acceptable.
Speed Settings
Assuming you have the lid and door closed, you may wish to try plugging the rear poop shoot exit.
Your print is a single colour, so it will not clog.
This may be the last thing, a stable temperature.
Obviously the speeds got you most of the way there.
What do the two views I pointed out to you look like? Please, share the screenshots.
ASA is a troublesome material with big parts.
I need to get better temp monitoring inside so I can profile it before during and after the print. I haven’t gone down the height range modifier views yet. I just tried slowing the print down overall to see if that helped (which it clearly did). You are probably right on the stable heat (I do have the door and top closed).

If you follow the advise I gave previously, you can target speed changes meaning only those areas are slowed down.
Slow down = more time for cooling for surrounding area of the nozzle. So the temperature at those areas couldn’t build up to almost melting point and deform.
Plastic disperses heat very slow compare to metal and stay hot for quite sometime without forced cooling
You went in correct direction with less cooling for ABS, I agree that. And you do want to slow down speed to 20mm/s when layer time is less than 3s.
But my guess is this layer was a bit longer than 3s, so this setting wasn’t applied.
Print head still moved at full speed and even 80% fan speed still not enough for cooling those areas.

You can manually set print speed as Malc suggested, that’d do.
Or you can let the printer automatically set fix 20mm/s print speed for those short layers by just increase the min layer time threshold to a more sensible number, say 12s
There is more into that if you read that wiki page fully to adjust the cooling for the better
