Hello everyone,
Today I printed ASA for the first time. ASA filament roll is inside a filament dryer while the hole printing at ~ 65 grad. I used default ASA profile.
Object looks good but the finish and the surface looks not so nice you see little „holes“ like Extruder „failed“ steps. Any ideas how I can fix is? Because front and back of this thing have these mini holes.
Thanks!
What do you have your “seam” set too? Random will do this.

Ah okay which option is better?
It depends on your model and where you want the seam. Ideally you try to put the seam on an inside corner as it seems to be the best way to hide it. You can play around with the different options and preview them in the slicer. They show up as little white dots. Just make sure the “Seams” is checked.
Here are some other pointers for seams.

Thank you! I have now set the seam to „Back“. But the little holes still present on the object. Any ideas what I can do? I looks like there is no filament but why? With PLA no problem on the surface. Any Suggestions for for ASA better performance and surfaces without little holes.
It looks like little gaps but I have this only with ASA. Maybe wrong retraction? What option I can optimize? Oder change volumetric speed to which number?
Does anyone have any tips for me?
Seam doesn’t seem to be it, I’ve tried everything.
The small gaps remain which looks very unattractive, but why?
Only with ASA!
Having the same issue here. Also only with Bambu ASA.
0.6 Hotend and the Filament is in a dryer…
Any suggestions welcome
