Since the second-to-last update, I’ve been having an ongoing issue where, when I have multiple objects on a plate and use the Auto-Arrange function, Bambu Studio places one or more of the objects off the plate. The objects haven’t been resized and should easily fit on a single plate for printing. It worked countless times before without any problems. The latest update didn’t bring any improvement either.
Is anyone else experiencing the same or a similar issue, and does anyone have any tips or a possible solution for it?
You want auto rotate also turned on to allow the slicer to rotate the objects for best fit. But to be totally honest, I found that the slicer’s rotate function to be very hit or miss and I’ve had better luck rotating the objects myself first then using the arrange feature.
My studio does this and I’ve tried all the settings listed above. I have a P2S and have done probably 20 prints since I got it where I wanted to do auto arrange and it only worked 2 or 3 times. Probably 15 times it would move one or more items off the plate, and twice it stacked items on the edge of the plate so it just turned into a spaghetti mess.
