is anyone here still running the AutoClear One from Pflieger Solutions?
I’ve been using mine on a P1S for about a year now, and the hardware is still working fine. Since Pflieger Solutions no longer provides any support, I stopped using their printer profile and now run my own G-code for serial production.
A few things I changed along the way:
- Bending: The original profile lowers the bed all the way to Z256 (the mechanical end stop) at full Z speed. On my machine that made the Z steppers skip, and at one point it even pushed a Z bearing out of its seat. I now bend from Z220 to Z230 at 10 mm/s, which releases my parts just as well and is much easier on the mechanics.
- Door close: The toolhead now parks at the back before the door-close command, and all moves are finished before the bed presses the button.
- Own slicer profile: Instead of the manufacturer’s printer profile, I slice with my own settings and add the AutoClear sequence afterwards, so bed type, temperatures and Z offset stay as I want them.
