each 4 or 5 days. I’m not trying to redeem any points so, is this an automatic review of the points system?

Yep, I’ve noticed it during periods of high activity with my models. I still get the points review when redeeming every few weeks, but both are par for the course and tbh I appreciate the anti-bot anti-spamming reasons behind it.
All normal, we all get them, they are unrelated to you wanting to redeem points at the same time.
I redeemed 11 gift cards the other day, when I went to redeem the 12th, it told me it needed to review my points history before I could complete the redemption. This was the first time that happened during the redemption any of the gift cards I had redeemed previously.
A day later it told me all was good.
I didn’t care, I ordered what I needed with 11 of them and the 1 I couldn’t is now sat with 4 of its brand new buddies.
Well this explains one of my questions

Decided with reading about all the point redemption delays, plus my own previous experience, I cashed in enough for one gift card. To my surprise, it went right through with no review! Perhaps it’s because the automatic review had happened 6 hours prior toy request?
In my experience, being blocked from redeeming is rare. I have redeemed, (let’s just say, a lot of gift cards), and I redeem them in different numbers, with no real pattern, I just decide I wish to order something, accrue sufficient points and redeem.
If it is a big purchase, I redeem part way through to the the unpublish rule about you can only redeem a maximum of 6998 points in any one week.
This can be annoying when you have a few successful models as it is possible to achieve that for a few weeks.
Then it dies down and you can redeem the balance. It is weird to be happy you are earning fewer points just to be able to redeem them all rather than a future build-up of points making each week harder and harder to reddem the full balance.
