This is odd. I had to take the back panel off my H2S chasing a clicking sound in either a motor or pulley (TBD soon as replacements arrive and I do the swap).
Today I was looking inside the printer and saw what I thought was a gob of PLA stuck up high. Reached back to pluck it off and realized it was the end of a back panel screw coming through the plastic to the right of the filament buffer.
I was very careful with the screws - the ones marked green, red or yellow in their documentation, keeping them separate and using the photo here to put them back into place:
So the right screw is there, but when fastened down flush like the others, it literally comes through the plastic inside the chamber. It’s just a little cosmetic thing, so I don’t care a lot, but it just strikes me as odd and I’m curious if I could have done anything to cause it or if it was always the case.
None of the “green” screws are any different from one another in length. If you back the screw out enough to NOT be poking through, it’s not flush on the back like the others and the panel will actually have play in that area. To be clear, even if a wrong, longer screw had gone in accidentally to make the hole (which never happened), the proper screw shouldn’t be sticking through like that, I’d think.
Curious if anyone else sees this or has encountered it - especially if you removed your back panel on an H2 at some point.
