Hey John, sorry to hear about the print issues. Besides setting the nozzle type, did you also adjust your flow rate or re-run the pressure advance and flow calibration specifically for PLA-CF? That material can be pretty sensitive, especially with a hardened steel nozzle which retains heat a bit differently. Might be worth checking your layer cooling and slowing down the print speed for the upper layers too.
I checked all the settings and they should be fine. I own a X1C myself over 2 years now and printed succesfully all materials, PC, ASA, ABS.
I recommended friends of mine who wanted to start printing the P1. They wanted to start with abrassive materials and told them they needed a hardened nozzle to prevent wear and tear.
I printed from the bambu studio and the print came out fine with PLA-CF. But they use the app to print stuff, is that maybe the cause? Does the app overwrite settings?
