Bamboo Studio 2.5.3.61 great bug!

The filament mixing feature is completely broken in the latest version of Bamboo Studio 2.5.3.61. Has anyone noticed?

I see at least 2… the fact that a mix doesn’t have to add up to 100%, and also that it’s ignoring the proportions, I guess. (It should be putting down more red layers than blue?) Does it still do this if the total does add up to 100%? (Or is that not possible to fix with the current mixing UI?)

“The color preview model for layered colors is not yet fully accurate. Users with high color requirements are advised to print a small test piece first and fine-tune the settings based on the observed results.” - This is what BumbuLab writes in the function description

I think that’s referring to the actual color result in the preview, how the final result will look to the eye. This preview looks wrong at the slicing level… the amount of filament used should be different, for example. That preview is parsing the actual generated g-code, so I’d expect those parts to be correct.

Absolutely right! Strange percentage values and a complete disregard for proportions when slicing.

If you use the edit option you can move the slider for different ratios

Although i dont own a H2c to test on my studio defaults to 50/50 - 33/33/34 for two or three colours

It should be pretty much the same as printing a genuine multicolur print , (rather than just the supports)

Gradient mode needs to be unchecked to edit before enabling for slicing

One issue ive come across floaters ?

Gradient mode

not gradient mode , can anyone shed a little light on this ? @BambuLab

Unretract

a mim aparece percentagens malucas como 0% e outra de 5000000%

Alguém me consegue ajudar?

Switch Studio to English. This is a known bug.
