A few days ago I had my very first bed adhesion issue. There was yellow string everywhere. I’m glad I checked on it. I thought to myself that the PEI plate needed to be cleaned, so I scrubbed it. I reloaded Bambu Studio, imported my project, apparently selected Generic PETG, and the print went fine. I normally select a Custom filament for the stuff I have as I do try to adjust values to make the overall print better.
Today I started printing, using a different roll of filament (PLA), one that I had previously used several times and had a Custom filament profile built. I selected the custom profile and started to print. It was looking good until I saw some of the print not sticking. I touched the bed and it was not very hot. Checked the temp and it was 45C. I stopped the print and was scratching my head.
I went to Bambu Studio and examined the Custom Filament and discovered the PEI plate temperature was set to 45C. This is when I started to think that I must have just selected Generic PETG for the first problem, second print.
Did one of the 2 or 3 recent updates change this? 45C isn’t a normal value for anything I have used.
