So was just closely inspecting my machine. I see on the right side of the x-axis rail the belt is awfully close if not touching the part right next to it. If I move the nozzle along the rail, when it’s all the way on the left it’s the closest to touching, moving it to the right gradually moves in farther away and closer to center. Then again moving it to the left makes it super close. Meanwhile the left side of the belt seems center more or less the whole time and only the right side is doing this.
Getting random print problems otherwise I would just assume maybe it must be ok if everything was printing nicely.
Bambu has a pretty good guide. There’s one screw on the back of the print head then a knob on the side you push by hand to add tension. It’s very easy to add too much.
I actually had already tried that with no change with how it functions, maybe just worth a shot doing it again perhaps. Maybe if I retighten it when its on the right side which is where it is most center that could help the most.
I can’t really tell in your picture but if there’s space between the white plastic tab and the linear rail (arrow in pic), you can try to loosen the screw in the plastic tab and make the gap tight. This will change the alignment of the stepper as well.
I think it works now, I just did the screw loosen thing again, and tried tightening it when the nozzle is as far right as I can put it and still tighten it. Then I looked how it moved, then I did the same thing in the center just to compare. They both now have the belt centerish on both sides with a bit of back and forth movement, but nowhere near touching the sides. Seems like it doesn’t matter where it is when you retighten it as long as you moved it back and forth.
