It’s been a while but I am designing an alternative AMS for the A1 and I was wondering if it would also fit the A2L?
The main question is whether the top tube has the same cross section size and if there is at least the same amount of clearance between the extruder and top tube.
I am now printing prototype V2 with open sides (for the wider bar) and a load of improvements over the above prototype.
The reason I am designing an alternative AMS lite btw is that I really don’t like the angle of the conventional top mount, the (in)ability to reach the rear spools and the general lack of incapability with other sizes of spools.
This version also has drawbacks of course with the inner spools harder to swap out and having no RFID on the outer spools.
