I have run tons of ABS on my H2D without issue, but just ran into a quality issue and wondered if someone could steer me in the right direction.
The machine is an H2D with 300 hours on it, running Bambu ABS. I am running Auto Flow Dynamics and using the default Bambu Profile. I just changed to .6mm HF Bambu nozzles. Room humidity is 28% and the filament has been in the AMS 2 Pro with dessicant for a few days, but hasn’t been dried.
I haven’t manually calibrated anything.
I would dry the filament first to elevate that possibility. Just sitting with desiccant isn’t going to dry it.
Check if you enabled random seam in the slicer.
If not, it’s likely wet. Dry it out
I didn’t realize that. I have been lucky, it seems, as I haven’t ever dried any, but have had random flaws like this, though never this severe. I will dry it overnight and see.

Random seam will do that.
Random seam placement improves mechanical strength by avoiding a continuous vertical weak line. By distributing the seam randomly across different locations on each layer, you prevent creating a stress concentration point that could compromise structural integrity. When strength matters more than aesthetics, random seam is the better choice.
That was my thinking, I just didn’t realize how bad it would look. lol
