Bambu H2D CoreXY motors: servos or steppers?

Does the Bambu H2D use stepper or servo motors for the CoreXY motion?

I’m pretty sure it’s steppers. Servos were just in the extruder.

From the wiki pictures it shows steppers.

servo is just for the extruder. rest are steppers

I think they are closed loop steppers.

think same type of steppers as on all other printers they have. The announcement suggested to be all servos - but think it is only for extruder …
Servos are to expensive for the benefit they give in these FDM printer applications. If it would be any big difference in improvement of print quality or speed then closed loop steppers would be widely used - which also are not …

There are two servo motors in the combo. One in the extruder, one in the AMS according to the fine print on the H2D page…

But where in the AMS? (25characters)

@maple24 just use <small and close it up

and dont put (25 characterts)

I’m not so sure. Those look pretty standard to me. They don’t look to have an encoder wired in. I have to go back to the sales literature but this looks very standard.

For example…
This is a closed loop pancake stepper.
