Just noticed that the latest version of the android app (3.0.3) lost the filament load and unload buttons. I am using it w/ a P1S and 2 AMS units. Not sure exactly when it went away but I thought it was there within the last couple of weeks.
This was especially helpful to have when I had to cancel a failed print, my printer lives in the basement, away from my computer. The filament doesn’t auto-unload from a cancelled print and I wanted to dry the roll but it was stuck in the hotend, partly due to the clog and the other part b/c of no auto-unload.
Not sure how to handle this via the app at this point in time because heating up the hotend and backing out manually was not a great option. Please bring back the load and unload buttons to the app.
It should still be there. I have an iPhone, but version 3.0.3 should be the same between devices.
Select “View All” next to “Filament”
Under “AMS”, select which filament/slot you are wanting to load/unload.
That’ll bring up a menu which gives you the options you are looking for.

Thanks, I did eventually see that. However, I’m looking for an unload option. It used to be under the Printer and the extruder so I fumbled around there for entirely too long before I found the load and reload options.
I hate how hidden/buried it is. Some prompt from the top level of the ams selection screen would have been nice.

Without an AMS i used the load and unload buttons all the time. I am just not sure why someone thought it was a good idea to take prominent buttons and bury them in a menu. Currently annoyed that i upgraded the app.
