I noted that i have several Handy updates available. I hesitate to update since I’ve not updated my X1C firmware and I’m not sure how connected these things all are. Case in point, i have a metal detector that is all wireless. I sent my headphones in for repair and got them back with updated firmware. I was on a version of firmware that for me was awesome beyond belief, but was no longer available. With the headphone update, i was forced to change firmware on all of the components or they would no longer communicate with each other. With that, i went from awesome to mediocre performance. I don’t want to end up in the same situation with my printer. Thanks!
Personally, I’ve always updated Bambu Studio, Bambu Handy, and firmware to the latest version about a week after release (to ensure there are no bugs), and everything works perfectly. If you see two updates very close together, it means the first one had some minor bugs that were fixed in the next update. Bambub is quick to fix them.
you should update…it is the same case with the metal detector, i can’t remember which one was not updated, but at some point i had to match the updates to get both slicer and machine to work together.
Based on the couple or responses, I’ll keep everything down rev until I decide to update at a later date.
