Bambu Lab Acceleration Overridden

I’ve been trying to print some tall skinny models, but whenever I attempt to reduce the acceleration of the print head, it will stay within my specified parameters for for the first three layers, then it will perform the initial unavoidable clumping check, then it will immediately switch back to full acceleration for the rest of the print, and invariably mess up the model if I let it run to the end.

There are a few previous posts that indicate this has been an issue for some time but has not been addressed by Bambu. Is there anyway to get around this? Is there any chance this will actually be fixed in the near future? It seems like this should be a pretty easy fix on Bambu’s end.

To make it even more silly, the slicer accurately calculates how fast the print sould take with the specified accelleration, but once the acceleration value is overridden, it constantly adjusts the remaining time to match the new speed as the print progresses faster than it should.
