Does anybody have a guess as to what the Bambu Lab H2C will cost, with AMS. We know it is laser compatible and will include the new Vortek System. And any guesses on how much an H2D–>H2C upgrade kit would cost?
My guess is about $700-1000 more than H2D.
With an AMS system? So starting at about $3000? I assume you can not use Vortex without an AMS.
Nope, AMS will be needed/included. They probably wont sell a non-AMS version as it will be pointless.
I can see the upgrade kit costing $900 to $1000. This will have to be a full printhead replacement.
I assume that the H2C combo will cost about $3300.
Yes. The vortec system will be useless without an ams. You will just have a more expensive H2D.
I am just hoping for a 6 Bay AMS system to go with it.
Any idea on an H2D upgrade kit to an H2C? And do you think an upgrade kit would fully turn the H2D into the H2C or do you think the H2C will include features not present in the H2D or an upgrade kit?
Pretty sure it will be a full upgrade including new front panel with H2C markings. Just like they did for P1s upgrade. Will be much easier to sell the H2D and buy an H2C. Will be a lot of work to upgrade it, new bed etc, 6+ hours as per FAQ.
Do you believe we will see its release on November 18th at Formnext?
Looks like reviewers getting them already so should be within the next 4-6 weeks, before the holiday shopping season for sure. Bambu does not launch their new models at trade shows, will be dropped on the website after some teasing a week ahead as usual. My guess is early December.
It will be soon. I agree with @maxim3D 's theory. December 5th.
Although I always feel like it is worth it to wait a month or two until everyone else figures out the quirks.
It is a shame, the H2D is an elite machine and its price reflects that. Not many people can afford such a thing. That number drops even lower when these printers hit $3K, if printers like the U1 turn out with a good reputation it may be hard for Bambu to recover, not many people will buy the H2C for its price alone.
Why is the coupon non AMS H2C then for the giveaway
Very good point as well I forgot to bring up.
I have seen this game played on TV.
I will bet £50 all in, the whole thing.
Starting price I hope around $799 for upgrade , then up from there, depending on the nozzle amount we where a little shocked with the h2d price if I rember so I hope the same for the h2c
I do not know why people still think Vortek was a thing Bambu was going to do from the beginning, a H2D upgrade to an H2C is going to take approximately 6 hours, with full bed assembly. Its insane!
I predict the number of nozzles you buy will effect price greatly.
For upgrade ~$700 for the components with each nozzle being $80-150.
Yeah I saw that too, no idea. I see no point for an H2C without an AMS.
At this rate, I will get all 20 of the H2C printers.
I will win one.
The other 19 will be given to me by upset recipients who won, but didn’t get it with an AMS.
I will be happy, I might even keep one for myself, but the rest would be donated to schools.
I would like one you know for “my” school
