Bambu lab h2d at the end of the program should not cool down

Hello everyone. I have a question here. When someone finishes printing, the PETG printing machine is at 260 degrees. Shouldn’t the cooling be activated at the end of the program? Or is it just like that? To cool it down faster, do you remove the PEI plate?

The nozzle is at 260C and the hotend fan activates to cool it down to 50C. The chamber and the bed only cool down naturally, no forced cooling. To cool down the plate faster yes, you can remove the plate, it should be OK for PETG but avoid with ABS/ASA and don’t do it with PA because it may warp

And can’t the lights turn off at the end of printing instead of always staying on?

It does turn off if you select energy saving mode

where do you put power mode?

One last question, how do you turn off the machine?
Is it the button behind the power? Is there no option on the screen to turn it off?

Yes, there is no other way than to switch it off behind the printer. If you want to invest $30 you can purchase the emergency remote switch to bring it closer to the front.

Edit: I shall mention that the chamber light and status led don’t stay on but switch off after the auto-sleep time you have specified not immeditely when the print is finished. You see I set mine to 10min so it will switch off after 10min.

You can enable the option in the filament settings to activate the exhaust fan after the print is finished. Just keep in mind that the fan does not shut off automatically — you will need to turn it off manually.

Note that you may also need to enable Enhanced Cooling in the printer setup for this feature to be available.

This works for all filament types, but there is currently a bug where the exhaust fan is activated while the cooling shutter remains closed if the printer was in heating mode.

I am currently printing PETG HF but in principle I will not need to print in the next few days, is it advisable to remove the filament from the nozzle to free it?

What should I do to avoid clogging the extraction nozzle?

What kind of materials are you printing on?
