[Bambu Lab H3C] Introducing...Your print

Wasn’t there something that looked like an enclosed AMS HT within the AMS on some of the preview shots. Maybe its for that.

Two different nozzle sizes in the same print…Possibly? That would be awesome. Looks to be the same watch that was in the teaser yesterday.

Confirmed. I guess I beat them to posting on the forum. LOL

Just means hopefully they bring that feature over to the other multi nozzle machines.

I would expect it to be released in Bambu Studio. Afaik it would work on the H2D and H2C directly. It has always been a software limitation.

I had a quick check in the Creality slicer, but that only supports one layer height.

Let’s hope Bambu Lab has gotten past that.
If not the Cadence Slicer becomes the way forward, as it supports different layer heights.

The printer with AMS is gtetting some height. From the pictures if then printer is still 626mm high, the AMS seems to be 430mm. For me it will be exceed my availabel space. It would be game over for me, unless BL has other options to get evering with less height as the lid will be huge and need lot of height to open and refil the AMS.

Sounds like a good reason for a remodel

I wonder if they have thought of integrating the rotary unit from the laser into the 3d print ecosystem.

The fourth axis.

Here’s how I see it work.

You first print a core or rod of your desired material, or it could be your support material, place in the chuck and start printing.

Just think props for model boats or planes, vases with patterns, light shades, stronger gears, etc the list is endless.

Yes, it’s 9 tools but a lot of our speculation in the last couple weeks has been that the AMS for the H3C actually holds 10 spools. Given the “empty” bay in the illustrations, and other folks discussion, it would seem the H3C’s AMS is 9 rolls, not 10.

Which kinda sucks because it would be nice to have some contraption which would allow one of the heads to be provided with a refill roll which could be routed wherever, but the mechanism to do this would be stupidly complex.

The 10th spot is maybe used for a heater/dryer.
