Bambu Lab H3C: Our Full Reveal

As a poor person who has expensive hobbies, I make my purchases often years apart and only when finances manage to line up. This is life for many people I am sure, I am not unique or even complaining. I am mildly jealous of everyone who gets to play with this new toy though!

What makes me a bit sad is that for a short while my printers (a Creality K1 Plus and a Bambu A1) more or less gave me access to pretty close to the “cutting” edge of what printers could do. Sure, I was limited to four filaments on my A1 (unless I get creative with swapping reels) but for the most part that was not a model that I could not with at least a bit of work manage to print. This next generation of multi-tool head printers are a whole new world though, and I can’t help but feel left behind as I watch and realize all the cool possibilities that I will not be able to try just now.

I will catch up one day! Of course, it will probably be just before the next big advancement but hey, that is the way life goes!

I wish I had a pretty face and the patience to put together a Youtube channel. I would love a free printer or ten. Oh, and a fibre laser cutter. And a CNC machine. I assume putting up a cardboard sign is in poor taste.

Looks like they are planing to have a bundle that includes an enclosed bambu station and E1 purifier.

The current bundle includes everything except the Purifier. In fact, if you add on the Purifier as a separate purchase, the total is less than your graphic. That must be an old graphic.

The current bundle is the naked FRAME edition, this is the enclosed one that costs $100 more.

Looks like the AMS 3H is not really sealed from what I could see in the videos. It looks to have in the lower side an open interface toward the printer. Heating the printing chamber at 65C would increase the temperature in the filament storage compartments consistently.

This is why I would say the AMS3 might provide 65C filament drying in all the slots, with two special slots having 85C drying capability

You got me. Thanks for pointing that out. Can’t say I’m interested in either anyway, luckily.

I’m pretty sure its sealed. Hence why they have rubber covers/plugs for the bypass’s that go to the bottom. Maybe not sealed great and definitely not insulated, but sealed(ish).

Indeed, there is a “sealed against moisture” text line in the AMS 3H description. This might be sufficient.

Just my observation…for discussion…exactly…
