Honestly don’t know what bambu is doing. H series already had the perfect tool for perfect laser camera alignment. The toolhead (vision plate) camera. Literally what xTool uses on its flagships.
Birdeye, especially on machine with variable Z height from bed to camera, is neigh-on impossible to calibrate well, in addition to its flimsy installation on H series.
Can anyone else hear that voice from Duece Bigalow that was always in the background going "THAT’S A HUGE ’ ’ "?
It’s the first thing I saw when this was released. I knew it was gaining space at the top, but WOW.
Other than the feature tehy are talking baout for multiple nozzle diameters not even working yet. The H2C still dominates the switching when it comes to -IF- you do more than 9 colors. Or you want to work with a conglomeration of colors that’s not the primary ones they are championing. Also, feels like the H3C might suffer from some closed loop isues? Too new yet, but what if you don’t buy your filament from BL? Not personally sure how deeply engrtained this CMYK adoption is yet.
That’s gonna come with ams H3 PRO
in about 6-12 months
Anyone know if loading up a second matching spool to another slot/toolhead still allows runout switchover?
This is the only consideration I need to know before I can make the case to buy one for work.
Otherwise for larger stuff I suppose I have no issue getting my hands on an AMS 2 Pro but it would suck to addon just for that feature. The build volume certainly accommodates enough material to warrant changing spools.
One of the review videos mentioned it’ll switch to another nozzle of same filament.
That’s all I need. Thanks.
