After finishing a print this morning I started the next, only to find the download of an 8 gram print that should print within 11 minutes didn’t download.
It got to 37% and then failed.
But I can resolve this DNS name perfectly fine so this seems to be a more generic error for a different issue?
Anyway, after power-cycling the printer 10 times I gave up and factory-reset the printer to enable LAN mode because the cloud clearly isn’t working right now. That was a big mistake because now it refuses to connect to Wifi.
I am using the exact same Wifi network I was using already, no changes so I know the Wifi network isn’t the issue.
Still, when trying to bind my printer using the Bambu Handy app, I get the ‘invalid password’ error, is there some secret Bambu password?
I am copying the password from my router’s wifi network and emailing it to my phone to then copy-paste it into the Bambu Handy app, the password is 100% correct and other devices are connected using that exact password (including the phone itself).
I have changed the password to ‘12345678’ and still ‘invalid password’.
So I guess I’ll ask here; what is the correct password because it’s apparently not my Wifi password?..
This has worked for 1 year now, same printer, same place, same Wifi, same phone, same app, same account same everything. Nothing changed but between 2 prints it just stopped working.
Does Bambu ban customers after 1 year of printing or something?
Desperate for any help as I now have an expensive paper weight…
Thanks, unfortunately the factory reset made things worse as it now refuses to connect to Wifi saying ‘Invalid password’.
For all other issues with Bambu they give clear errors, usually along with a link to instructions on how to fix or at least troubleshoot it. Makes it more confusing to get an ‘invalid password’ error after that same password was valid the past year.
same happen 13- 14 Februari 2026 till now. 2 new posting and 3 with me today..i guess it is from cloud server error? Maybe no one will check the server cause they’re going New Year holiday..
I found the answer to my problem. With the new repeater I changed from the 2.4 and 5 Ghz having separate names, to both sharing the same name. Once they were separated again I logged in on the 1st try. I hope that helps someone else!
