Bambu PETG HF Replacement

TL;DR - Just wanted to share my success with SUNLU High Speed PETG 3D Filament as an even better replacement for Bambu PETG HF - using the Bambu PETG HF profile on my X1C

Agreed. You should also try JAYO , subsidiary of Sunlu, rapid matte PETG. 1.1kg spools. Often on sale. I just purchased 10 spools of black for $91.47 delivered from Amazon on 3/2.

Red in both Sunlu and JAYO are more a watermelon color.

ETA. My setting for JAYO are not much different then BL PETG HF

Thank you - something else that I noticed and I will do my best to articulate it

When I used PETG HF I would let the print cool for as long as it needed to, and sometimes it still would not pop off the bed easily - even with a glue stick

….so when you bent the build plate to pop it off, it would leave white stress marks on the first layer. (Black filament) I would have to then use a heat gun to blend and remove the white stress marks - wasn’t such a big deal, but it was annoying

today I use the sunlu black - following the same exact bed cleaning / adhesion / removal procedures, and when the prints popped off the bed, I did not have one white stress mark on the bottom layer surface!!

maybe it was a red herring or a fluke but I’m gonna try again and if it does happen, I’ll update the post.

One aspect that keeps me from using Sunlu matte HS PETG: It has very weak layer adhesion. Already BBL PETG HF is not very strong, but the Sunlu has by far the worst layer adhesion I have measured of any PETG. And I have tried many parameter changes and printed almost 400g in test parts, because I wanted it to become my new goto PETG.
