Agree. In my case though dude essentially ‘rolled’ the printer over the floor of his truck and needed me to help him getting it down. They didn’t have a lift or any other equipment. He tried to put it on his back by the straps at which point I pointed out that I can help.
Other issue is the cost. We pay a lot for shipping for 2-man delivery. It’s like charging extra for 24hr delivery and taking a week. It’s not on.
I find it funny that XDP advertises that they have manual sorting stations. Most do but do not market it as it’s better… they could have cleaned the place, show people working in the photos, would have sounded more professional.
I live in Malaga and am on my second delivery now as the first one was lost by the courier DB Schenker, guess what, they sent the second H2D Combo via the same courier!!! I had to wait nearly a month before BL sent the second one . I had a notice saying tried to deliver but it was a lie (of course) as it was never delivered. The next one is due tomorrow, fingers crossed!
COST FOR EUROPEAN DELIVERY……€165! That’s £139 so don’t complain about costs and delivery times. It is disgusting
Thought i would add my experience in. I have ordered X1Cs in the past as well as plenty of other stuff and all arrives with DPD. Company is great, drivers are great.
I then ordered the H2D but looked at who delivers it after the purchase. I started to worry as saw nothing but bad reviews.
H2D arrived at depot and sat there for 2 days, then it said it was out for delivery a day earlier than it was supposed to. 3 hour delivery slot and low and behold, it turned up, undamaged and the driver (on his own) was actually ok.
Im well aware that this was a lucky fluke. Im looking at purchasing a 2nd one in a month and will definatly use additive-X as have only heard extremely good things about them.
I agree with what others have said, im happy to pay extra for a reputable company to delivet.
Had i been buying now i would likely buy from additive-X myself also, if they have stock. beign able to collect snd the seller having a face and premises with a phone i can go to if there are major issues
however when i ordered on release they were not expecting stock for over a month. and also being in the 1st batch was unaware of XDP being the worst courier in the UK …
Some shipping dates are odd. I ordered an HT from Additive March 8 - whilst I knew they are pre-order - I was now told shipping is mid / end of June … so when it comes to pre-order you rely on their main order to come in. But for anything in stock - I’d 100% would use them. Unless there are discounts - they don’t make their way to Additive-X.
I paid 160 euro for the delivery, and carried the box to second floor by myself. This in Finland tho, our postal fees are stupid for shipments over 30 kilos. Way stupid.
H2D Delivery Nightmare – £80 for ECON? Still No Printer!
Just need to vent — and maybe warn others.
I ordered the H2D from Bambu Lab (UK store) on 28 May. Paid £1,929 — plus £80 delivery. For that price, I expected proper service. What I got instead:
• Shipped via XDP ECON — the cheapest economy service possible
• No mention anywhere on the Bambu Lab site that it would be ECON
• Found out only by checking XDP’s own site
• Weight: 42.3 kg and apparently one person is expected to deliver it
• Marked “Out for Delivery” THREE times — 29th and twice on the 30th
• Still not delivered.
• And to top it off — Bambu Lab marks the order as ‘Fulfilled’
XDP doesn’t deliver on Saturdays, so I’ve now lost the entire weekend, waited at home for nothing, and wasted time chasing something that hasn’t even left the depot properly.
Honestly? Charging £80 and quietly using bottom-tier delivery is shady. If this doesn’t arrive Monday, I’ll be demanding a full refund, not just the £80 postage.
Come on, Bambu Lab — this isn’t good enough. If you’re charging premium, deliver premium.
