Bambu Studio Auto-Shrinking My File

Hi everyone, I could use some serious help, I have been trying to figure this out for 2 weeks now, I am a beginner in the 3D printer world and I have been experiencing an issue when I drag and drop a file onto Bambu Studio, everything appears normal, sizing wise. But, when I print it, it is auto shrinking my design but still shows all the correct dimensions in the preview. I have attached a few photos to see if maybe you guys can help me out.

For more info, I have 6 other designs that have had zero issues printing, this one is my “largest” design and it refuses to print properly. The normal thickness is 5mm but it ends up printing at 3mm, I also have pockets made internal for magnets and a “pause” set up so I can drop the magnets in. It has worked perfectly for the other 6 designs but this one the magnet pocket is also shrunk so I can’t put the magnet in either.

This is one of those occasions where you really need to upload the 3MF file so that the underlying model can be reviewed. If the printer is printing a model that you know you designed at 5mm but is printing at 3mm height, it suggests that there is either file corruption or perhaps something else like perhaps one of the surfaces may have an open manifold and therefore the slicer is not perceiving it to be a solid. In that situation, it would “Drop” the model onto the build plate and make contact at the vertex that is solid. The only way to know for sure is direct inspection of the file.

What file format are you using for import? Also, can you show a screen grab not a photo of the model process tab? It looks like this?

Also, you’ll get more responses from the community if you make the effort to post clearer images. Photos of a computer screen are pretty harsh and suggests you’re not making the effort to learn how to do screen grabs. There are some folks who simply won’t respond if they don’t sense you’re making an effort.

One screengrab that would also be very helpful is to show the model on the build plate after slicing and then annotate the area you are suggesting isn’t performing as you like. Again, this takes guesswork out of understanding your challenge and will greatly enhance the quality of responses.

You’re computer has more than one method, to do screengrabs or screenshots and there are thousands of YouTube tutorials covering how to do it.
