I have Bambu Studio Version 2.6.0.51 on a Windows 11 Laptop, and I tried the Beta Version 2.7 and both Crash Studio every time I try to change the font. Doesn’t matter if it is existing text or trying to place new text, change the font and Studio just disappears. Anyone else have this issue? Any fix???
Is your GPU driver up to date?
Check drivers, but make sure it is safe before you upgrade. Nvidia and Windows both have a habit of breaking machines with their updates.
Checked all drivers. Everything is up to date. Everything else seems to work ok in Studio. I do have a ticket in for this. Was posting here to see if anyone else has or has had this happen.
Try clearing the Windows font cache file… it can get corrupted, and could possibly cause what’s happening…
Hit +R and run services.msc, then stop the Windows Font Cache Service, then go to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local (Windows is going to ask you for permission to access this file path. You have to “walk” down to it in file manager. If you try to jump right to it, Windows will say the path does not exist), then delete everything in the FontCache folder, then reboot your Laptop.

Tried your trick, still crashes. Even did the update to 2.7.1.57, still crashes.
Completely uninstall Studio, reboot, reinstall Studio.
