Hi, All! First off, really excited to be here. I’ve been loving my new BBL P2S + AMS 2 Pro and having a blast printing awesome things. I recently purchased a few rolls of SUNLU PLA Marble and have been printing with it non-stop for the last week. When I first loaded the SUNLU PLA Marble, I created a custom filament based on the BBL PLA Marble preset. No issues there, the custom filament showed up just fine and I was able to load that into the AMS 2 Pro.
Today, I was making some adjustments to the SUNLU PLA Marble custom filament profile when I decided to simply start fresh by deleting the custom filament and adding it back. I have no issues adding a new custom filament using the steps below.
However, once I save the new custom filament, it does not populate in the Custom Filaments window as shown below. (You can see I added SUNLU PETG Basic with no problems.)
BUT! If I navigate to the User presets>Custom dropdown from the Project FIlaments tab, you can clearly see that my SUNLU PLA Marble custom filament is there (with the other two presets for 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzle hidden in the unsupported b/c I have a standard 0.4mm nozzle installed).
Can anyone explain what is causing this bug and how I may fix it? I like going into the Custom FIlaments window to edit a filament “family” instead of going into each individual filament via the Project Filaments dropdown. Adding another Custom Filament, works just fine and populates in the Custom Filaments window. I’ve also tried removing each filament one by one, doing a complete Bambu Studio uninstall/reinstall, and even tried deleting the filament profiles from the ApplicationSupport/BambuStudio/user/*long number string*/filament/base folder. I’ve tried waiting overnight to see if it was a sync issue with Bambu Cloud, but no success there. Every time I add SUNLU PLA Marble, it fails to populate in the Custom Filaments window.
When viewing the filament profiles in the ApplicationSupport/BambuStudio/user/*long number string*/filament/base folder, I noticed the .info files of the SUNLU PLA Marble filaments are missing information, specifically the user_id, and setting_id that are populated in the other .info files that are working.
Hopefully this is enough information to help squash this bug.
